Vase Filler

Want to know if anyone has ever used blueberries for vase filler.  I love at Christmas time when cranberries are used and wanted to use blueberries.  Only found a few pictures on pinterest but no instructions.  I tried filling vase with frozen blueberries and added water.  Basically had dark dark blue water and couldn't even tell blueberries were in there.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Blueberries have a much softer skin than cranberries so I think that’s why the frozen + water didn’t work. I think you’ll have a similar problem with fresh but that might work better than frozen. I still think you’ll get some blue/purple water because of how porous blueberries are. 

    There is always artificial.
