Wedding Dress shopping

Not that I have even gotten to shopping yet, but does anyone have good recomendations for places to start looking for a dress?  I have no idea where to start!

    While I ended up purchasing my dress in Florida I did go to RK Bridal.....which was crazy but if you're looking for a good deal you may find it there.  I also went to The White Gown in Brooklyn.  The service was awesome as well as their dress selection....I just didn't find my dress there.

    Start by figuring out your budget.  If it's big, you can go anywhere...Kleinfield's included.  If it's average, most bridal salons on LI can help you.  I ended up at Helen's Private Collection Bridal in Commack - all of their dresses are under 2k and I LOVED my dress.

    The Bridal Suite of Bayshore is good also Helen's Private collection in Commack. Very sweet people there as well. Also I believe Helen's is doing a special, any gown over 1,000 you get a free veil up to 250 value!
