From green to blue

So we decided to do a beach wedding theme, since we are getting married on the water anyway.

Originally, we wanted to do green, but all the green wedding colors avail are more Irish looking, when we want a beachy look.
Decided on blue.
Now my question is, does anyone think green can pass as a beach looking wedding? We are still not 100percent certain....

    There are definitely certain greens that can look "beachy," but I'd stick to more of a pastel-ish green - think seafoam, mint, maybe a light teal or turquoise.  Straight green is going to look like St. Patrick's Day, I think.  You could also mix pale green and pale blue - those colors together always remind me of beach glass.
