Hello! My fiancé and I have decided to do a destination wedding in the mountains near Asheville, NC. Next August would be best for us (we are okay with doing a very small wedding given coronavirus), and we really love Lake Eden Events and Lodging, but it has a non-air conditioned reception barn area. Does anyone know if this will be too miserably hot around 4pm? Has anyone been to a wedding here in the summer? We are thinking about taking pictures around 3pm, ceremony at 5:30, and reception at 7:00 or so. I am not very familiar with the mountains in North Carolina and would love any advice about how to keep it cool, especially inside a barn!
