Did they negotiate with you on prices? I'm finding that they are a lot more expensive than other places I looked at. I got a proposal from Sweetwater and Riverbend and when I compared it to theirs, theirs was a lot more expensive. I'm trying to see if I should even bother to negotiate with them. My mum loves the place but.....so much $$$

For our wedding, we got a great deal. We did ours in the afternoon which allowed them to have two weddings on the same day, and, allowed us to pay less than half the cost!

Our room fee was $600 for the ballroom (orig. $1200) and the food/bev minimum was only $3500 instead of $7500! We would have NEVER met that higher minimum for an evening wedding because we only had 60 some odd guests.

I'd definitely be willing to talk to them about it. It was a great venue for it and we got tons of compliments!
  • Has anyone else gotten married here, or thinking of getting married here? I am intersted in the facility for my Feb. 2013 wedding. Any thoughts on the service or pricing information for evening weddings?

    Thanks in advace!

  • Not exactly what you asked, but I went to a wedding at Riverbend and it was gorgeous. I inquired about pricing and it was pretty decent too.
