I almost didn't want to start the Wednesday post because my life is boring right now and I don't have much to say, lol.
The sewer line (finally) got replaced yesterday. Supposedly, the SW&B is coming back today to fill dirt back into the enormous hole that used to be the front yard. But I don't trust them to do anything they say they will, so we shall see.
For another update on my flight debacle. When I got home, my H pointed out that if they are no longer flying non-stop between NOLA and NYC, then that might have screwed up our flight back to NOLA also. Sure enough, in the 2-3 hours since I had last checked my e-mail, there was now a notice that our return flight had been "rescheduled" also. Also with really stupid times.
But, other than adding on 2-3 hours to each flight, I changed both of those flights last night to much better times than what they had automatically put us in. To give a little bit of props to Southwest, they did make it surprisingly easy to do. There was a special link in each e-mail. When I clicked on it, I went to a page where all I needed to enter was my original confirmation number and my name. When I clicked to the next page, it had all the flights I could chose from on that date...it looked like there was even an option to pick a different date...I chose the one I wanted. Confirmed it. And done. It was changed. Since I had originally booked my H's flight with mine, it automatically changed his flights also.
