Ice with no freezer

Our wedding venue is a renovated barn. We have to set up a makeshift bar, but the issue we're running into is ice for 120-130 people. Do we use coolers? Do we have to rent a freezer? Any advice would be appreciated!

    Your best bet is to use coolers.  Is the ice for keeping bottled beverages cold or to use in drinks?  Large cubes melt slower than small cubes or crushed ice.  Plastic coolers are more efficient than metal coolers.

    If you are keeping bottled beverages on ice, make sure you have plenty of towels on hand to dry off those bottles!
