Recommend long distance moving company?

Has anyone had a good experience with a long distance mover that they'd recommend? Moving from Kansas City to Southern California and haven't had the best experience with movers in the past. Any advice or recs highly appreciated. Hoping to move by years end but can extend the timeframe if need be.

Try three men and a truck. We've used them a couple times as we've moved around the U.S. and twice in California. I believe they also have an office in KC if you want to talk to someone in person. They've been easy to work with and definitely on the more affordable side of things. No complaints about their service, professionalism, or any of the other problems you often hear about with movers. They'll price the move for free so no harm in comparing prices. Good luck!
