Hello,
So, I got engaged on July 04, 2019. I was so excited and decided to get ahead of myself and ask all my girlfriends to be my bridesmaids along with my (9/10 year old nieces) to be my flower girls as soon as I got engaged. Due to Covid, the venue we were going to book on April 2020 for a 2021 wedding got postponed. Now, here we are. We finally booked a different venue and my wedding is scheduled for May of 2023 (venue was fully booked for 2022). My nieces are now soon to be 12/13 years old. They will be 13/14 going on 14/15 in 2023. They have told me that they will be too grown to be flower girls (Teenagers). My question is, what should I do? I would like for them to be part of my wedding since they were excited to be included but now time has passed and now they're older. The thing is I have 5 bridesmaids and my maid of honor (6). I thought about adding them as Jr. Bridesmaids but 8 girls seems alot to me. Is there a polite way to exclude them or should i just add them as Jr. Bridesmaids or any other ideas to have them included by doing something else?Help!
