Name for best friend on both sides.

Hi, myself and fiancé are getting ready to ask our bridesmaid’s and grooms men. 

We’re struggling with one best friend, who we both want on each side. 

We feel like he should be ‘our …….’ 

That way he can go between both the bridesmaids and groomsmen on the day. 

Any ideas for what we can call him? Thanks 😀

At some point, this person will have to "pick a side" for the ceremony.  Just make a decision.  Those who know you well will realize he is a close friend of you both, and those that do not know will not really care.
