Hi wedding experts! We are looking into a venue that asks to include all vendors staying for the wedding (DJ, Caterers, etc.) in the final head count. Each headcount tier moves the rate tier up $2,000! Is this standard practice for most venues?
That venue booking cost is separate from catering and drinks which are provided by your own outside vendor. I would certainly expect a caterer to ask for a final headcount with vendor meals added to the total headcount. But an extra 2k for folks floating around on wedding day seems a little steep? Maybe i'm just not mentally prepared for all the LA up-pricing coming my way!
