Do I invite my grandfathers girlfriend to my bridal shower?

Hi everyone! I'm getting married October 8 2022 in Massachusetts. My grandfather and his girlfriend live in Florida. I plan on inviting both of them to my wedding, however I have only met Maryann once or twice and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to send her an invitation to my bridal shower.

I don't think I would invite her. They live far away and you aren't particularly close to her so unless grandfather mentions something about it, I wouldn't. It could be seen as gift grabby ( not saying you are).

Same advice as ILoveBeachMusic. No need to invite someone who lives far away. My sister was recently married and had 2 showers and an engagement party. I wasn't invited to any of the events, even though I was MOH lol. 

Eta: I wasn't invited because I live far away and wouldn't be able to attend, not because she doesn't like me. 😉

I agree with this. I think it's fine to not send her an invite.

Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate it! I wasn't trying to come off as gift grabby, just wasn't sure what the etiquette was.

FWIW - ask...  This is one of those communication aspects with your grandfather of "We do not want you to feel under any obligation to travel/attend the additional events, but if for some reason you felt like traveling you're both definitely invited!"...
