Good reception venues in Houston?

Does anybody know of any good reception venues in Houston that don't cost an arm and a leg? My budget's about $8,000 and I have about 200 ppl on the guest list. I want it to be classy. Help anyone? Thanks!

What part of houston would you prefer?

Is the $8000 to cover everything for the reception?  All food, drink, rental fee, etc.?

Do you want sit-down dinner and/or full bar?

Do you want somewhere you can DIY or something all inclusive?

Do you have any likes/dislikes?  Like, what type of venue?  Restaurant?  Hotel? Museum? Banquet hall?

Is it a saturday evening reception or something else?

I had a Sunday afternoon reception (2-7) at Brady's Landing and my ENTIRE wedding came in at about 8,000. I would recommend looking into them as I know several women on this board have used that venue.

We are using the pavilion on gessner which is well under your budget for the venue. not including food or drinks. Also looked into Cindy's place which was willing to come off their price quite a bit.

I am having my reception at the Art Bar in Houston.  They are very reasonable.  There venue price includes drinks.
