Yes! I ordered them in Black and they are so much more comfortable than the first lace ups they made!! 

I had a long debate with my sister about black vs light gray and am SO happy i also ordered the black ones - i cant wait until the snow is gone and i can wear them more comfortably.

I'm losing steam at work. I want to go home and nap but i need to power through like 2 more small things. I'm online shopping (I'm excited that H is starting his new job in 2 weeks, my spending has been a little nutso the last couple weeks). But i'm trying a bunch of jeans from Abercrombie that i keep hearing good things about.  Excited for that.

Another episode in employment nirvana:  the boss just emailed eveyrone and said to work from home tomorrow and possibly Friday.  He even said, "...absent dire need to have you here and frankly, we can work around that too."

I AM NOT USED TO BEING APPRECIATED AND THOUGHT ABOUT AT WORK.

Yesterday I finished the cookie baking, did a grocery run then vegged with a Hallmark movie. H made it to VA just fine. They have rescheduled tomorrow's appointment to an hour earlier so hopefully he'll be able to get on the road by 11:00. The storm is to hit here around 4:00 so he will be driving into the snow/ice.

Today I got the upstairs and the basement cleaned and ready to go for everyone to be home. Tomorrow I will work on the main floor. Last of Christmas presents wrapped and under the tree. Tonight some neighbors have invited neighbors over for apps and dessert. Looking forward to some socializing. I still have a pound cake to bake and gingerbread men to do for the grandsons. Right now I'm sipping on some hot tea punch looking at Christmas lights - so nice.

Glad your new job is such a good fit for you @VarunaTT. @missJeanLouise I hadn't seen that y'all were definitely staying. Happy for y'all. Everyone else good luck getting all the stuff done. @banana468 my H might be in the same boat as yours if we lose power.

I'm trying to be as prepared as possible.  I didn't realize DH is off tomorrow so he's shopping for food.
