My FI...-never tops off the gas tank...he will put like $22.74 instead of rounding up to $23.00!-leaves hunks of toothpaste in the sink-always misplaces his car keys, and then throws a fit (slamming doors, throwing clothes on the foor) trying to find them.-doesnt use a room spray after stinkin up the bathroom- EW!i think thats enough for now.. i wouldnt want yall to think i dont love him! :)

My FI is an engiNERD so when I exaggerate or guess he will inevitably say "well actually...."  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  (that is what I usually say when I hear the "well actually" )
Image and video hosting by TinyPic Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

*We both have G1 phones and today he took mine. His is disconnected (for now since he doesnt  use it anyways) and I really needed MY phone today! ---He does not pay attention to details like this that are important  *He says "calm down" even if I'm not raising my voice or upset... which then ticks me off lol

Haha...this one should be fun...My FI...-smacks when he eats b/c he doesn't think about it.  I have to remind him-throws all of his receipts on his side of the room and the pile just keeps adding up (along with his pile of dirty clothes, his pile of work junk, his pile of computer junk, etc...get my drift?)-get annoyed when I help him organize but then doesn't do it without me-loads the dishwasher all funky, but I guess I should be grateful that he even does the dishesThat's all I can think of right now that really irk me.

*ditto the dishwasher loading (and it gets under my skin when he has the nerve to say IT DOESNT FIT! when it does) and ditto to the spraying something in the bathroom.

he doesn't pick up after himself.. and when I ask him to he gives me the hardest time about it.he has a horrible memory and it sucks that I have to remind him about important stuff, then he gets mad about me nagging him.. I wouldn't do it if you remembered shyt!  but he cant help it (injured in war) so i'm stuck with it... he wont make lists... or he forgets the list if eh does make one.he has no sense of time..he says i'll call you back in a min... 4 hours later.... hello!!?!!
  • edited December 2011
taylor, why would you want him to top off the gas tank?my FI:-he is really disorganized and messy. he tends to create piles of coke cans or trash when i would just throw it all away.-he watches weekday morning court shows and cops ..-he procrastinates!!!!! ughh

TxSun...mine has *the worst* memory, too!  There are so many of my friends that we see on a regular basis and he won't remember who they are.  I think it's just because he doesn't want to take the time to think.  It's so bad that I have to refer to them with something to help them remember, like, "Lauren in Ohio" or "Shannon, the Louisiana wedding".  I only talk to one Lauren and one Shannon on a regular basis, so it's not like it's hard for him!  Haha!

oh man I love him but.. *When he does the dishes it's like a 6y/o does them. I almost always go back and rewash. We don't have a dishwasher so that kills him. Also when he loads the dishes in the drying rack he loads them backwards and he put the utensils wrong side down. BY doing that not everything fits and then after its full he just walks away from the sink. Doesn't finish the rest or empty the water he just used. And he never cleans out the sink! ugh this is our biggest argument can ya tell? *His socks he never unrolls them when he puts them in the dirty clothes. *He asked me to make a key holder for him. I did. However he still loses his keys everyday.*He doesn't clean out the sink after washing his teeth or shaving.*He will come into the room I am watching tv in and change the channel to what he wants then walks out and doesn't come back for like 35 mins. I'm like what the hell damn guy! NMW though I still love him in everyway :]

--He is a video game-aholic, he always brings his PSP whenever we get in the car, even if we are just going right down the street. --He is cheap, mainly because he doesn't know any better. someone has always paid his bills for him so he really has no idea what things cost and how much is in the account etc. I thought about letting him pay all the bills for a month just to get an idea of the whole thing, but I am scared he would totally forget something and something would be turned off--He is a clean freek, he can't stand when something is out of place or dirty, which is good but can get a little annoying

emily,it's just one of my "OCD behaviors". like i always top my gas off to a number without change...like $20,or $30. im okay if he tops it off to like $20.50, but anything other than that just drives me crazy.  he knows how i feel about it, but he will pump it to a random number and get in the car and drive off before i can say anything too him.

TaylorCristen, mine does the same thing.  The last number always has to be a 0 or a 5 for me, like $20.30 or $15.15.  He'll leave it where it stops and look at me and smirk.  Ugh.

Haha, this is fun. Specially since I'm in a pissy mood. 1. He has the worst memory evah! 2. Major clean freak. He expects me to be that way too and I'm like "dude, it will get done when it gets done" 3. He can be in a different world sometimes, exampleYesterday I was getting for the engagement pics and he was just laying in bed playing with the DS and I notice he hasn't shaved so I say ---you are not even going shave. and then he gets pissy and goes to shave. Wanted to smack him! But damn it I love that man, I feel better now, thanks.

TaylorCristen,  I am in some ways *major* OCD.  The gas and numbers are my main obsessions.  I obsess about even numbers.  Example, we went to a wedding in March.  I got 4 strawberries, 4 pieces of cheese, and 4 crackers.  What does FI do when I sit down?  He takes one of each, knowing it would irritate me.  It irritated me so much so that I had to give him another piece of each, leaving me with 2 of everything.  I couldn't eat 3.  It had to be an even number.  Yeah, I'm weird.

askweres,i only really do it with food. like if we cook chicken strips, ill put an even number on my plate. im not really severe about it though, like if were at a party and there is a bowl of chips or popcorn then i dont put an even number on my plate. only with bigger stuff, like fruit, cheese, chicken nuggets...stuff like that.

TaylorCristen - I agree.  Popcorn and chips can't be helped.  I don't worry about that either.  It's the stuff I can control, like you.

    * Toliet seat (He is never around girls so when he is here I let it slide) * His ticks (he gets these ticks that drive me up a wall, he can't help it) * He doesn't remember anything. (I'm his personal secretary, he is getting a lot better) * To Relaxed (Nothing bothers him or if it does he just acts likt it doesn't. ) * Buying things we don't need. (Like a flat screen tv which is now in a box at a friends house not being used. We are still paying for it. urg) * His obssession with tattoos. (I have to remind him that the cost of one can be a plane ticket, how his tattoos can prevent him from getting jobs. Luckily we have figured this one out and avoid the topic.)
