Haha AW!

Don't laugh ladies. I lost my glasses 2 weeks ago and haven't been able to see a thing... hoping they would just pop up. Well now I'm queasy and have headaches so I know its time to bite the dust and go to the doc.... well I am proud to say that I am 24 and got CONTACTS for the very first time!!! I'm not sure I like them much and it seriously took about an hour to get them in. I keep wanting to touch my eye. Anyway, I'm a BIG KID NOW! :-)

Yay!  It'll get easier to take them in and out.  It just takes time and practice.  I used to cry because I got so frustrated.  Now, I can do it without a mirror.  I hope you like them!

Just remember that contacts will stick to whatever's wettest. I remember how long it took me to get those suckers in the first time. Congrats! I see a lot better with contacts.

BIG AWW!! You will get use to the contacts and you won't be able to tell they are there. What did you do for your wedding? Did you wear the glasses?

Yeah, now that I wear contacts, I can touch all over my eyes no problem. It's like a parlor trick.

youtube has a tutorial for everything!Ive been wearing contacts since forever.  I decided to try a new brand my eye doc friend gave me and when I put it in my eye it started stinging (not a big deal) so I was like let me take it out and rinse them.  Well the brand was a thicker contact + my watery eyes...I could not take them off.  Took me a good 10 minutes to take them out and then my eye was bloodshot.  I was freaking out.

I got Lasik when I graduated HS, but i remember when I first got contacts in middle school and I was too scared to put them in, i would lay on the floor and my mom would put them in for me. And then i didnt want to take them out so I would just sleep in them for weeks...it was not pleasant!

I almost cried from frustration the first time I had to put them in on my own. Now, I'm a pro. I wear the Night and Day ones so I only have to take them out over the weekend. I sleep in them with no problem.

i had hard contacts and I loved them since you dont have to actually touch your eye to put them in...then I got lasik I had to use a soft contact lense for a few days when my hard one got lost and playing soccer with one good eye was a hazard...I had to get our trainers to put in in for me bc it freaked me out, and I was 20 ha

I have had glasses since the 3rd grade!! Skip the contacts and go straight to lasik.  I paid 220 a month for 18 months- it was the best investment of my life.  Going to the pool and not worrying about glasses/contacts is awesome!!  P.S. NEVER EVER eat boiled crawfish and try to take out your contacts.
