They changed things and it's all pink now.  What the what? 

I had a long weekend.  We didn't end up going boating because we thought it was going to be too cold, but then it was perfect.  Ah well, we had a lot to do around the house anyway.  Sunday we had everyone over for Father's Day.  Yesterday, poor DefConn had his last 6 baby teeth pulled because the adult teeth are coming in, and the baby teeth weren't budging.  He was in a little pain, but overall seems OK. 

SSDD otherwise.  Work, blah.

Yes, I noticed the update and I kinda like it.  Did they do it just for us, because we’re the only ones who know this board exists? Or did they also showcase the boards on the main page? Only time (and a sudden wave of newbies) will tell.

Short work week for me and Thursday can’t come soon enough. Otherwise ssdd over here too. Poor defconn! I didn’t know they did forced tooth pulling!
Edit; they make custom m&m’s, but did you know they customize oreo’s? Supposedly with pictures but I can’t make it that far before it freezes on me. Ummmm my nieces and nephews need this!

H is golfing tonight and won't be home til after bedtime - both boys have recently decided they will only stay in their beds if we are sitting next to them until they fall asleep. They do not share a room, so I'm a little nervous about how bedtime will go. We'll see! Meetings all morning and i'm heading to lunch with 2 of my favorite coworkers so looking forward to that!

I hate the pink update, it feels so....bright? idk. 

Ugh @mrsconn23 i had to do that in middle school with a few teeth and still remember how it felt. Hugs for Defconn!

I am not going to like this pink.  I don't mind pink usually, but it doesn't blend in with the rest of the color palette on the boards.  I knew they had changed the front page and was meh about it, but this is yuck.

I came home last night, immediately went to sleep for 2 hours.  IDK what was wrong, but I was so tired, I probably could've gone to sleep at my desk.  Got up, ate, worked out, and took a nice bath while watching the new The Righteous Gemstones, and was in bed early, sleeping hard again.  Thankfully, I don't have too much to do outside of work this week.

Otherwise, SSDD.

It's his second go-round with getting teeth pulled.  Last time it was only 3. They only do it because it's messing with the adult teeth coming in and there were no longer roots for any of his baby teeth.  But he needs to start seeing an ortho and they would have told us the teeth had to come out before they'd do anything.  He seemed OK, just a little sore if the pain meds wore off.

Weekend was good; swim lessons were a bust because of their filter so well try again next week. He was saying he wasn’t going in all the way there but once we got there he saw all the fish in the walls and was SO EXCITED and then was sad we couldn’t go in. I swear toddlers are wild. 

I was off yesterday and napped most of the day. I caught a cold from M so trying to sleep it off.

This pink and font change is a design nightmare. 

Weekend was good but very tiring. Just so much driving and peopling. I feel like I could hermit for a week to recover. 

Poor defconn. I feel his pain. I had every single baby tooth pulled except for one because they were so stubborn. Not fun.

Officially in my favorite week of the year- I'm still at work, the kids are still in school, but it's the last week, so there are no extracurriculars and no homework. woohooo.  Almost feels better than summer vacation, bc the second shift is by far my least favorite  
Work was kind of nuts last week, I couldn't really get on, but it was a nice weekend here.  Sending vibes your way @Casadena, two of my kids couldn't fall asleep without me there/without me rubbing their back.  They grew out of it, eventually, but no tips as far as what helped, just hoping the boys outgrow it soon!

I feel like the pepto pink is a summer intern project gone wrong. 

SSDD here. It's been raining all week and I just don't want to do any work this week. I wish I could log off and go snuggle up and read or something. I had to give a presentation this afternoon that went well, so at least there's that.

I'm all set for my girls' trip. Friends arrive tomorrow - weather willing. One of them has already changed her flight due to weather advisories.
