Finally Friday

Even with a short week it’s felt long. I’m in the waiting still waiting for the doctor to come out and update me. M was awake at 3 and didn’t go back to sleep until 4:15. I had to get up at 4:30 to be at the hospital by 5:30. I’m exhausted.

Solidarity.  Had a few nights like two weeks ago with Chiquita waking up in the hospital  I wasn't also expecting.  I hope you have reinforcements this weekend so there can be mother/kiddo napping.

Thankfully my MIL came over at 4:45 this morning to take M to daycare and he’ll be there all day. Then it’s napping and snuggling.

Working today, need to do a quick clean of the bathrooms at some point. My parents get back from their trip today so i'll pick them up later and we'll order pizza. 

H and i were planning to go out tomorrow night for our anniversary but he's been fighting some stomach thing all week so i'm doubtful he'll be up for it. We'll get to it eventually i guess. Otherwise swim lessons Sunday morning and thats about it.

Naps all around!!

Idk if I'm tired because this week has been busy/rough or because I had to deal with tiny Kylo attacking my feet at 5:30 and 6am 
2x I had to bring him downstairs because he wouldn't stop. Had we had a thicker blanket, it'd be fine but with a sheet you can feel the tiny hypodermic needle claws/teeth.
Obv then him and Penny are getting into it .... yes my circus, yes my monkeys, but they were downstairs and I was not playing ring master to the stupidity.

Tomorrow I have dentist appt. BK is at my mum's tonight so it's easier instead of a back and forth deal.
She also has a bday party tomorrow afternoon.

I know I'll get a nap because I'm so spaced after dental work because of the nitrous.

BK has another party on sunday. I'm hoping to clean while she's at that one.
My bathroom needs cleaning and my upstairs needs a good vacuuming.

((hugs)) @charlotte989875.  You've been through it lately. 

I've been around this week, but it's been jam-packed at work.  I've had 2-ish weeks of work that I've had to pack into this week since I am only around for less than 2 days next week and then we're heading west for our vacation.  I have  team business to get ahead of, but I also wrap up the leadership course I've been in for the last 2 months in two 4 hour sessions on Tues/Weds.  

This week has also been crazy because the kiddo fell when he was skateboarding and has a concussion, plus he messed up his knee.  We're waiting for him to get an MRI.  We also have to replace our water softener ASAP because ours has failed and we have the *hardest* water due to being on a well.  Our water literally smells like nickles.  

I do not feel ready for vacation at all.  We haven't packed a thing or made a pack list.  We did make our final orders Weds night and everything should be here by the weekend.  DH scheduled a call for all of us to chat on Sunday to finalize stuff.  I'll feel better once we have our new luggage and we can wash clothes in non-nasty water and start packing all the things. 

I work tomorrow and am on-call Sunday.  Womp, womp.  Working, packing, and replacing our water softener is on tap for the weekend.  Woohoo adulting.

I'm also glad for the end of the week.  I do have to come into work tomorrow for a bit, but that's okay.  I had my allergy shot this morning and it's making me feel like poo.  I have a headache and my ears are hurting.  I know it's just b/c of the additional pollen in the air, but this is getting old.  I'm so close though, I just have to keep plugging away at it.  5 more weekly shots and then I can start spacing!!

No big plans for the weekend.  I do have a movie ticket for tomorrow, but not sure if I'll make it w/work or not.  It's also a race weekend and I will miss qualifying live b/c of work, but that's fine.  Mercedes is not having a good weekend already.  Sunday there's a theatre in town that is showing the movie that's been made from the last Ziggy Stardust show David Bowie ever did.  I'm super excited to see it.  I'll drop in at some point to see mom.

Otherwise, starting to countdown to vacation!

I have a graduation party to go to Saturday.  I don’t really know the graduate very well, she’s the daughter of a meet-up regular and she invited some of the meet-up crew.  I only started hanging out with her a year ago.  Is slipping a $40 amazon giftcard into her card too cheap considering the (lack thereof) relation? I don’t know what to give!

While I have at this point gotten used to it, also sleep issues.  Mine like @MissKittyDanger danger are caused by animals.  My chickens keep waking me up uber early to be fed and let out.  My new one is a busy-body and has to announce everything.  I tried to just ignore yesterday, but for an hour it was just "bwak bwak bwak".  And two of them aren't currently laying because of the heat, so I'm just feeling that it is a lot of effort and no gain.  But they are cute and amusing I suppose.
Craziness at work as usually.  I was so, so pissed off yesterday at our IT.  I'd been locked out of an account and they repeatedly reset my password but I still couldn't get in.  So I asked them to do more than just reset and confirm my credentials.  Ignore, ignore  ignore. Well, they figured it out yesterday and I had been given the wrong username.  I had been locked out of this account for 5 friggin months!!!  So so angry.  But it's over now, I have access, all is well.

90 Day fans, what do we feel about this? I like the concept but not liking any of the cast.  But I guess that’s what gets them recasted.  Fan detest brings in dollar dollar bills.

It looks super cheese-rific and fake.  More than normal, even for this franchise.

I don't know why Jovi and Yara will be there.  I'm pretty sure they are a perfectly happy couple, who fake drama to get more screen time.

I'm also eyerolling that Angela and Michael are on.  He isn't even in the US!!!  That should have been requirement #1.  That both people will be there, in person.

There's also going to be some wealth porn going on, because of the venue.

But despite all that, you know I'll be watching every minute!

Lol I don’t know if I want to! Kalini is the only one I can stand.  Is Michael not in the states yet? Then yeah why is he even on there? I think the fans have stated they hate the way Angela is disrespectful to him (apparently she’s really nice IRL from people who have met her?)
i’m only doing pillow talk for Before the 90 Days, but tonight’s premiere of The Other Way looks good actually.

I can see PT being a good way to go.  It's a decent summary of the show, with funny commentary.

I still watch every minute, plus PT, lol.  For me, PT is a good background show.  I already watched the main show, so I don't need to look at the scenes.  But then I can listen to the PT commentary and get their take.

I think the Other Way is all new or almost all new couples.  I'm looking forward to it also.

Have you watched that new show Match Me Abroad?  It started off really promising, but hasn't been as good as I was expecting.  With the exception of Stanika.  I've stayed really interested in her story.

Yes! I like that one.  The “meet the parents on the first or second date” culture is baffling to me! I also like Harrold, he’s so socially awkward but alas, the matchmaker found a counterpart EQUALLY as awkward!
