OMG it felt like Florida when I put the kids on the bus only I wasn't on vacation. 

I'm letting my hair air dry because adding heat seems like a terrible idea. 

Saturday is in 3 days.  My son theoretically  has a soccer game.  Where is it?  When is it?  NO ONE KNOWS.

Got back from my parents house yesterday and boys were both asleep by 7pm! Grandma and Grandpa sure wore them out. I was so excited they were asleep early that I promptly forgot about our draft - my team looks pretty good for auto-drafting. The boys were very ready to go back to school today and were ready 15 minutes earlier than normal!

I have a busy social calendar the next couple weeks which is very unlike me - work FF draft tonight, book club with school moms tomorrow (I just joined and this is my first one!), Mom group for oncology patients Monday, and 2 work social events next week. I'm going to need to hibernate for a couple weeks after that. 

Not ready to be back at work for sure. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

We finally had a break in the weather. Yay!
i’m so tired.  I did a costco run yesterday and saw that melatonin was on sale.  My body came accustomed to it so I stopped using it.  That was a year ago, so I decided to try it again, maybe it works now? Nope.  Still up at 3:30.  Then again for the day at 5 am. I was able to get some exercise done, which is nice.
Friday is my Grandfather’s funeral and burial (he passed in March but was cremated).  We pushed it back, hoping my parents and I could make it, but due to cost, only my parents could.  My sister is doing a short euolgy and wants us to contribute. I have a baaaaad memory, but I need to really dig deep for some childhood memories (we moved when I was 17, and weren’t as close).

Why is it still so hot?? Okay we’ve had a pretty mild summer but I can’t take these 86 degrees, 86% humidity days. Work for exceptionally busy yesterday and I’m not feeling it. There’s a Board meeting coming up and suddenly everyone needs everything right now.

I saw something that said this has been the hottest summer on record, but I can't remember if that was specific to my geography or overall for everywhere. It's hot again here and I'm just over it. 

I used points at work to order a new garmin. Tracking says it is coming today and I was so excited to get out to play with it tomorrow morning, but not if it's stupid hot and humid.

Today is my last work day before vacation and my mind and body are in mutiny that I had the audacity to schedule myself for work. I am super tired. I had to take my mom to her colonoscopy yesterday and it was a very long and inconvenient day. 

Weekend was okay. It was H’s bday. There were some annoying family dynamics going on but at least we were okay. Otherwise SSDD, trying to pack for our trip and I have to move offices today since when I come back from vacation I’ll be in a new office with a new schedule. 

I made a terrible error scheduling myself an early morning appointment tomorrow so I can’t sleep in and now I have regrets. Oh well. At least I’ll be forced to start my day.

This heat is the freaking worst. I haven't blow dried my hair in weeks (I have this Olaplex spray that honestly has been saving me and making my hair look good). This morning I was sweating just as I was getting ready. I'm over it! 

Tried to make a dentist appt finally with a new dentist. First place I called said their next cleaning appt is in April lol. 

Other than that, SSDD. Happy it's Wednesday already.

@CharmedPam, I did a Costco grocery trip over the weekend and was excited that Melatonin was on sale.  That's my normal sleep aid.  I'm sorry it doesn't work very well for you.

It was a good trip.  We had a few other frequent purchases that were on special.

Good afternoon.  I'm having the shortest week ever, since I'm off tomorrow and Friday.  But it's not for a fun reason, I have to get my IUD replaced tomorrow and I think it's going to be unpleasant since my strings are buried.  I'm making DH take me and I took Friday off as a precaution.  

SSDD otherwise.  Need to find what I'm going to binge tomorrow while I lay on the couch with a heating pad and make DH wait on me.  LOL

I'm taking myself to clinic tonight. I've got a barking cough and it's just bad.
BK had it while on vaca - but hers adjusted quick. Hers needed vicks, excederant and humidifier.

Mine? Not so much. I've got cough meds but I highly suspect they're not the right ones. I figure even if dr says it's "nothing" that they can tell me what I could take.

Anyways I was on 2 week vaca and it was soooo nice. No stress, easy going ... makes me honestly wanna job hunt.
This new company merger is becoming such a headache honestly, idk how much more I can physically take
Not searching now. Just .... considering it.
Ideally I'd love to be in school board so then I could have summer off with BK, but we'll see.

We did swap around BK's room, and so far she loves it lol
I'll get a photo later of the now to show a before and after.

@levioosa, sometimes if I don’t have a meetup early on a Sat or Sun, I will use the time in the morming to lay around.  I actually like early meetups because it gets me moving for the day. 

@short+sassy, I was pleasantly surprised that the few things I had in mind to go for HAD some great instant coupons.  Plus, who doesn’t love dinner for $1.50?
it’s not going to sleep I have a problem with, but staying asleep. I should test it again and use it when I wake up around 12 - 2, and hopefully that gets me back down till 6. Otherwise I’ll have my doc fill out my ambein script again. 

@mrsconn23, good luck at that appt.  I binged yellowjackets S1 all this weekend and thought it was pretty good.  I wish they used someone else besides Juliet Lewis as Natalie.  But I don’t care for her in any role.  I don’t get the hype over her.

@CharmedPam i truly thought i was the only one who felt that way about watching Juliet lewis. She is so hard for me to watch in anything, i dont' know what it is about her but i just cringe.

Her role in this series is a hard, badass, dirty junkie…. But I’m not sure how much is being acted on her part.  Cringe is a great word.

As far as I'm concerned Juliet Lewis is only Audrey and she's frozen from the waist down.
