Pre-wedding Parties

Bachelorette Party and Vow Renewal

This will be a slightly different subject. This is a 90 day fiance situation! My fiance is currently working on his K1 Visa which is a visa for him to come from the UK to here and then we marry and he can get everything else. He will be here in November but we have a stipulation of getting married before the 90 days, plus we need to be married to apply for his work authorization and green card. We will get married within that week or so of arrival in order to start all this with a small intimate ceremony. Then we will have an actual big event in 2025 after saving more money (we want a really big and pretty wedding) but thats just too hard to do with such a small time limit. Our legal marriage date will be in November this year but we will likely celebrate the other date more as its going to be planned for specific things and for his family to be here.

What kind of pre-party can I do that maybe isnt a bachelorette party or similar before that 2025 date? Is it wrong to do something like that? My family already knows that I will already be married to him before that 2025 because I have been open about this process.

I would love some advice and to pick peoples brains about the best way to do it.

First and foremost, whoever attends your actual wedding does need to be hosted something afterward.
Once you marry in November, 2023, you are no longer single.  You are married.  A married woman can't have a party intended to honor a single, soon to be married woman.
A vow renewal typically occurs for a milestone anniversary, and is often celebrated on a smaller and more intimate scale.
Typically, once married, you have lost the opportunity to have someone host something on your behalf. Your circumstances are somewhat unique, but you are still making a choice as to when, and how you marry.  Gift giving parties should also not occur.
Having said that, no one is prevented from gifting you as they deem appropriate. I have gifted to several people for a variety of occasions whether an invitation was extended or an event held.  Are you sending out marriage announcements after your marriage in November?  Some family and friends might be glad to hear of it and send an unsolicited gift.
You and your husband can host an open house at any time.  You can invite close friends and family to a spa date or something.
