My husband and I got engaged in 2021, eloped in 2022, and then immediately set a wedding celebration date for August 2024. At the end of 2023, my husband got into Marine Corps OCS. He graduates at the end of March and will begin TBS almost the next day. We currently have a friend in TBS who has advised that you get most weekends off and you’re able to request leave.
My question is, is having my wedding this August still doable? We’ve booked and paid for all the vendors, sent out invitations and RSVPs, literally everything before knowing he was going to OCS. But I’m starting to get really worried that we’ll have to move the date.
