It's a "hurry up and wait" day at work. I have two urgent things to do, but need info from other people before I can start.
My H and I had our CTJ talk last night about him getting more work done to prepare our house and another rental house we have to get them ready for sale. He looked so sad and defeated, that I softened my words a little. Hopefully I won't regret that. I think he was sad because he knows what I said is true. He's been failing me and us. He promised to start putting in at least 6 hours/day of work. We'll see. We also went over the repair checklist for our own house.
I also talked to him about how scared I am to uproot our lives and move. There are so many unknown, major factors. But all of this prolonging it is causing me so much more stress. That for my own mental health, we need to pull the band aid off. I NEED these houses to be ready for sale so we can start making real plans for a definite move date and lining up a rental apartment/house to move to. I also acknowledged my own failings in that department, like I still have so much more stuff to go through.
