AGREEEEEEE get insurance for real!  And STB MrsMartin...your crazy to encourage naive.....brides to work with these people.  I do NOT believe that Roger and Angela were not affiliated with the Tuscany.....it all makes sense and if you do any type of research it it clearly true.  Shame on you!  Other than that....I hope you have a good wedding, b/c aside from whatever your trying to help with or whatever lies they are telling you and however you know these peopl...I wish you a beautfiul wedding and a happy marriage. I hate to be ugly, but these people took away our wedding and many others, just imagine if yours was taken.....?????

I wasn't going to say anything at all about this subject because I know how sensitive it is on this board and I can totally understand why.Don't SHAME on me. You don't even know me or what I know about the TGO & BT. She asked a question about the 34th Bell Tower so I just said i could get her in contact with Angela her self since she was trying to get a hold of them.

One last thing... I do not lie or try to encourage naive brides. If you have ever seen me on this board. All I am very positive and hope for the best for all brides. I never discouraged any one. 1st of all the bride is not naive who posted on this board she just asked a question like many brides do on this board. 2nd ...I have done the research. I was planning to have my reception at TGO until it was no longer around. YOU do your research for the 34th Bell Tower and what is going on NOW. Things ARE different. Get your facts straight before you start attacking me. Thank you. I WILL have a GORGEOUS wedding thanks to the other knotties who have supported me during my planning process.

OK girlies, PLEASE quit posting to this thread. It is over and done with and I've picked another venue anyway. The bell tower was probably out of my price range anyway. I feel for you gals that lost your day. I don't really like being called naive. I was just asking a simple question, I got my answer. I formed an opinion all by myself (I'm a big girl!). I'm still a VERY new knottie and I hope to be able to continue to post on this board without causing heated discussions :-(Good luck to any and all brides to be!!!

Not naive in a negative way at ALL!  I simple meant I would never want the same to happen to anyone!  I was a naive bride...and I'm a big girl....I trusted these people!STB Mrs Martin, I'm sure you are a great, positive, awesome person and I am too!  But the bottom-line is Roger was involved with the TGO and I think it's very convenient for them to be back at it one year later!You will never understand what our lives were like when this all happened, or how we still feel!Best of Luck to you and I shouldn't have lashed out at you...it's just heartbreaking!

I am actually looking into having my reception at BT but i am very skeptical about this place. It is beautiful though....I am looking to have my reception at a very unique venue...something different than a hotel or regular ballroom. Does anyone have any suggestions?
