We are close relatives of the groom. The wedding location is on the outskirts about an hour's drive from town. Since there are a lot of senior citizen relatives attending the wedding, I thought it is a good idea to ask about adequate restrooms and accessibility for people with walkers. The wedding venue manager assured me that the location is senior friendly and they have restrooms. However, since it is supposed to be a destination wedding location, they expect most of the guests to stay in the rooms in the location. Most of us are not staying at the location and just plan to attend the wedding and reception and come back the same day. He did mention that the location is senior friendly but the events planned by the bride and groom, one on the terrace and one on the steps may not be senior friendly. Since we did not plan to stay at the location, we did not ask for room reservations. Now, should I ask for a room or two for the senior relatives so that they are comfortable or just be happy with the restrooms there? Also, what if it is difficult for them to witness the events because they are planned on the terrace and steps. I read reviews of the location and it says lots of ups and downs. How to ask for some arrangements for the senior relatives? Most of the other guests are not seniors. Please advice. Thanks
