How was everyone's weekend? Hope anyone who celebrates Easter had a nice holiday, and that this is a smooth week for all!

I didn't check in much but will look through last week when I have a chance, but I hope that everyone is doing and feeling okay!
The weekend was good! Friday was hugely busy. The kids served during the Passion service which was nearly an hour and a half. Later that same day Chiquita was part of the group that put on Living Stations which was beautiful.
Saturday we sold cookies and I got a sunburn. We always post on the local forums and some cantankerous old guy wrote, "Walk the neighborhoods! Learn to work for what you want!" Right. This is the next phase where it's table sales dude. I didn't respond at all because IMO comments like that which intend to disparage organizations of the youths are both ignorant and not helpful at all. Asshat should eat a few more cookies and maybe he'd be a little happier.
Easter was really nice. We went to Mass and then to my brother's house which was a relaxed nice time. Now to dig into the work week. CHiquito has his first baseball game and tonight a BOE meeting.

Weekend was really good. Friday I went to get my hair done (extensions) but when she opened the box, found out the company renamed hot fudge brown to black so she couldn’t use them. She told me they should come overnight. I feel like the creature from the blue lagoon without my hair in, and it’s very mullety since I’m working on growing it, so my scalp is looking better but my hair is so thin past the ears. So I went to Moulin Rouge Friday night with a clip on hair piece in, which is OK with one day, but was worried the right ones wouldn’t come in on time. They did and it was only 24 hours without them. But sad news, she’s moving to a new salon. I want to stick with Ulta for price and points/keep my diamond status, so I have to find another good stylist who can apply them as well as her. I may even drive 45 minutes to my friend’s stylist who she recommends.

Weekend was good. We had a dinner for H with DD, SIL, GSs and DS2. DS2 drove up to DD's as a surprise for H. Unfortunately DS2 has shingles so he wasn't feeling great but he powered through. Yesterday we went to a Lutheran Church while DD and family went to their church. It was a very nice service. We normally go to their church with them, but on Easter want to be able to take communion. GS2 had some questions about us not going with them but DD kind of glossed over it. Eventually, she will have to explain the differences between our churches but he is really too young to understand now. Her ILs came over for dinner. I behaved myself since I can't stand them. LOL H said I did very well.
We got home last night. I-65 was closed so the detour took us an extra hour to get home. I have my annual exam this morning. Fun times. I need to pack for my girls' trip to Austin. I leave tomorrow morning. I'm ready to be home for an extended time. All this travel was poor planning on my part.
