Dear Prudence, 

My best friend is getting married while pregnant. Do we combine the wedding shower with the baby shower, or hold them as separate events?

    Ditto - think of the timing of the two events.  If she's getting married at 6 mo pregnant I'd consider 1 doubled-up shower.  If the wedding and birth are IMO more than 3 months apart then do two showers.
