There's a chill in the air and the rain continues, but I know it'll be hot soon enough to not complaining.  Hope everyone's Tired Tuesday isn't too bad!

DDs x-ray showed no fracture which is great.  She is still experiencing swelling and discomfort and is walking using a boot for now which she thinks will help (her homeroom is on the third floor in her school).  

Fairly SSDD at work, although some of the students are really pushing it lately.  And a not crazy-busy evening which I am thankful for.

I am just so over lots of things right now.  I'm over unpacking, I'm over the new program at the office, I'm over needy bosses....all of it.  I should probably take a day off, but I'd just end up working on unpacking more and other things, so it wouldn't help.  Maybe I'll escape to a hotel room or something this weekend.  

Otherwise, SSDD.

@ei34 good news about DD!

When I was in Frankenmuth, I picked up some edelweiss flowers to plant. Now, let me preface this by saying I am NOT a gardener or planter by any means. Any flower in my yard was planted by the previous owners plus the tulips my mom planted last fall. I only bought them because this florist brought the seeds over from Germany or Europe somewhere before it became illegal to pick them. So because they were so rare I was like “I want those!” Lol. I bought six. 3 for me and 3 for my mom (who does have a green thumb and most likely won’t kill them like I will). Wish me and my 3 plants luck lol!
Tonight I’m excited for dinner and an escape room! Fun Tuesday for me.

G has been having a rough time going to school lately. Crying and clingy for the first time in a long time. His teacher thinks it's kindergarten anxiety and has been sending me lots of pics of him smiling and playing the last couple days. Hoping he has a good day. 

Work is good busy at the moment. I'm trying to wrap up as much as possible so that when i'm traveling most of next week and off half the week after i'm not crazy. 

Weather has been great and i'm loving the 70 degree, chill in the air, mostly sunny days!

Had my follow up with the ortho to go over my MRI. I have arthritis and stenosis in my L5. I guess the fall just triggered the inflammation. She prescribed a steroid pack since the Celebrex hasn't really done much. I'm also going to getting a cortisone injection but that takes a couple of weeks to schedule. In the meantime, if the steroid takes care of the pain I can cancel the injection. Hopefully one or the other of those things will take care of the symptoms. If not the next option is surgery - I want to avoid that! I haven't sleeping well the last few weeks/months. I'm really tired all the time now.

@ei34 glad your DD didn't have any broken bones.

Weather has been beautiful here! The heat is coming back but I’m loving the high 60s with a slight breeze!

It's finals week and Chiquita woke up w/a fever.  I hate sending her to school sick but she has to take exams and they're over by late morning.   It's at least neither strep, flu or covid - but it is not fun.
