This is kind of controversial but I just got married and my dress was 12 inches too long and it was dragging all night. I recently graduated from university student and with my budget being pretty low I couldn’t afford and have the time to alter it. Usually though I like wearing gowns that are too long on me like 4-7 inches too long because that’s what I prefer. But when I measured how long the front was, I didn’t know what to do. Ik ik it’s easy to alter your dress but I just couldn’t afford it! So on the wedding day I brought my 5 inch heels and immediately switched to flats including the aisle walk because it restricted my movement way too much. So I had to basically hold up my dress the entire day. I could only do slow dancing and sometimes tripped even when I was holding the front with both hands. But honestly other than that I enjoyed my day. Just wished I had enough money to alter
