Hi all! My fiancé and I are looking at having our wedding and the Philly area and absolutely love the look of the German Society of Pennsylvania. Not only does it fit our aesthetic really well, but it also seems to be one of the only Philly area venues that works for our budget (20k for 135 guests).
Before we toured we were confident it was going to be the venue for us, but after seeing it in person we’re a little nervous about the neighborhood (611 Spring Garden St, Philadelphia, PA 19123). I think it will be fine since most receptions wrap up around 10:00pm, but has anybody had or been to a wedding there? How did the neighborhood feel at night?
