I wasn’t tired this morning but my kids struggled getting out of bed. It’s coming for me though, it’ll be a long day between being my long day at work and a Meet the Teacher Night at the kids’ school from 6-9.

I wanted to stay in bed this morning since the temps were so nice and cool. However I couldn't eat after 7:00 because I have my second injection this afternoon. Now I can only drink clear liquids until 11:00. I did get a workout in this morning. I am going to friend's house for dinner tonight. It is her birthday and our book club is joining her to celebrate. Someone is driving me though since I can't drive until tomorrow. I also won't be able to drink any wine. I will somehow manage though.

Please cross fingers and send prayers that this injection works for me! I can have one more then it is surgery.

weekend was a mixed bad. Saw Hamilton Friday, and cried. Again. Always do. Saturday did nothing and Sunday was a county fair.
I’ve been feeling bleh lately. Partly due to my uncertainty at work and that situation; and man troubles. Someone I dated for a bit early this year reached out again. I thought it was fate that we were talking again. It didn’t take long for me to figure out he wanted one thing from me (I’ll let you put that puzzle piece together) and I said no. His effort was so low this time and he only wanted one thing. I have a feeling he could be in a current relationship but keeping his options open and saw my profile and just reached out again because I was familiar.  I need a reset on many levels. Maybe I’ll do some hypnotherapy or spell casting/tarot tonight. 

Eta: oh and edit to add; if anyone loves gummies but watching their sugars PSA for this company. Very expensive but they taste like all the nostalgic gummies of my childhood (I have them on amazon autoship to save a bit)

Also eh today. Exhausted, work is unrelenting and I’m just tired. 

Got an MRI this morning and waiting for the results. Really hope they post them to my portal before my doctors appointment tomorrow. It’s been 6 weeks since I’ve run and I’m getting tired of not knowing how serious this is. 

M had a much better day yesterday and just going it continues.

Had a follow up for Chiquita to stay on her ADHD meds.  We found out that due to the current issues we'll probably need a prescription written so she can receive a Covid vaccine and may need one for Chiquito as the 11 yo brother of an immunosuppressed person.  So for those of you who will want them, start to look into it because some pharmacies may not let you.

I'm dragging a bit today, but still working on getting boxes up/down the stairs and unpacking.  Now that I'm caught up, work isn't so much of a stressor and that's been really nice.  I feel bad; I gave away Harley's big cat tree.  It just takes up too much space.  Please note: she has another tree that I've put in it's place, it's just smaller but I still feel bad.  As soon as the garage sale happens and I can get more stuff out of my place, I'll be putting up her wall climbers so that she can get high up and be a tree cat again.

I am back at work and tired. I didn't sleep horribly, but it wasn't A+ sleep either. I am annoyed with a few things at work. The teamwork in the new area just absolutely sucks. I miss my old department. The whole reason I'm over here to begin with is because everyone is awful at doing the things they're supposed to do but it just feels like a punishment to me. Was really hoping we'd win that $1.8 billion powerball lol. 

Otherwise, not too much else is going on. I might try to do a slow walk on the treadmill tonight and I keep reminding myself not to overdo it. Then we will probably watch Alien: Earth (is anyone else watching it, it's so good!). We picked up a salmon meal from Costco last night and that will be a quick and easy dinner too. Tomorrow it's supposed to be a high of 80 and I'm so excited for slightly cooler temps. I'm sure it's a false drop and it will be back to 100 next week but a girl can hope for spooky fall vibes.

Tired and dragging here too. We got up at 5 to take my car into the shop before work because the check engine light has been on intermittently. It turned out to be mostly a software update but a clogged something or other that I didn't have to pay for, so whatever, but 5 am sucks. Work has been non-stop. Yawn.

I understand, @levioosa!  Our highs for the next 10 days are in the high 80s, low 90s.  Which is at least an improvement over the mid to high 90s of July and August.  But 80 would certainly be even better.
