Hi everyone, lovely brides & beauty experts! 💍
I have my wedding makeup trial coming up in about 2 months and I want my skin to look its best when the makeup artist does the test. I’ve been doing basic care (cleanser, moisturiser, SPF) but I think I need to step things up gently so my skin is glowing and smooth without risk of irritation.
Here’s what I’m considering, and I’d love your thoughts or suggestions:
-
Introduce a gentle exfoliant or mask every so often, but not harsh ones close to the trial.
-
Add in a brightening serum / treatment for dark spots or uneven tone.
-
Make sure hydration is solid so the makeup goes on smoothly and doesn’t cake or highlight texture.
I saw that Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum is often recommended for evening tone and spots without being too heavy. Has anyone here used it before a trial or wedding day? Did it help with how makeup applied and how photos turned out?
Also happy to hear any other low-risk skin treats or tweaks people swear by in the months leading up. Thanks so much in advance! 💕
