Wedding Woes

Fri-yay

Thank goodness. Wishing everyone a weekend with peaceful and joyful moments.

Re: Fri-yay

  • The visit last evening was nice.

After work I’m going to try and tackle some cleaning, then we’ll have our pizza and a movie. Tomorrow we’re gathering with family (my kids don’t see their cousins as often once the school year begins so my sisters and I try to make time). Sunday will be low key, just mass, cooking/prep cooking, and reading.
  • Last couple weeks have been a whirlwind of travel and family stuff. This weekend should be much more chill thankfully! Golf lessons tomorrow for G, birthday party on Sunday is pretty much it. I'm extremely tired and have been having some GI issues, so a trip to a GI is in my near future. Hope to feel better soon, but not excited for the scopes on one or both ends that are probably needed. I'll post prudie shortly!

  • We’ve instituted movie night so we’ll do that tonight. Otherwise a pretty quiet weekend. H has an intro to hockey event tomorrow, it’s at our pro ice arena so even if he hates hockey it will be a cool thing to see.

It’s been a long week- the world feels heavy. We just- don’t have to live this way.
  • I started PT this week for a Back/SI joint issue. The therapist thinks it's L5 facet inflammation, likely due to arthritis. Today's visit mainly consisted of a massage and exercises to do at home. We'll do dry needling next week.

I stayed up to the end of the Packer game last night and am dragging a bit this morning. DH had a bad day yesterday and just wanted to argue. I tried not to engage, and last night, he flew into a rage because I hadn't reset the clock in our living room, which was running slow. I know it's part of the disease, and he's frustrated about that. It isn't easy when he takes it out on me because I'm there.

Tomorrow, I need to run some errands, and then a friend's daughter is stopping by in the late afternoon to visit. She went to college here, and we 'adopted' her during her freshman year, as it was her first time away from home. It'll be a nice visit.

Sunday is worship, and then we are meeting my family at a restaurant to celebrate my nephew's 23rd birthday. They'll come to our house afterwards to hang out.

  • Hugs @MNNEBride. Even if you know it’s part of the disease that’s still so tough.
  • Vibes your way @MNNEBride, for what you deal with and also your own health

SSDD today. I am a little sleepy but glad it's the weekend. There's not too much going on. I have an appointment tomorrow and then I debated going to see my grandparents but I think we should go next week instead.

  • Are you taking care of yourself, @MNNEBride? I know this is so hard.

It should be a fairly relaxed weekend here. I've worked the last 3 Saturdays and I'm not doing it this weekend. Hopefully I can get the back walkway pressure washed. It's kind of a hassle to set up, but it's fun to do.
  • Good luck with the back treatments @MNNEBride. I hope they work!
