It's a different day at work, the Day of Service instead of regular classes.  I'm supporting two students who are part of a group doing a beach cleanup.  Lots of layers bc it's in the high 40s here but always cooler by the ocean.  Fairly smooth second shift later today, the kids just have swimming.

Walgreen's hasn't filled my Rx yet, so I'm still waiting.  There's 2 others filled waiting for me, but I want to make one trip, so hopefully they get it finished soon. By the end of the workday yesterday the spot was a sore throb.

Work is going okay.  I'm so glad I'm WFH.  I'm not sure I could handle an office setting where I had to actually interact professionally right now.  Just everything is on an edge.  I'm tired of...jesus, I started to type it all out and honestly, I'm just tired of everything.  

So, I guess SSDD?

I am so tired. I haven't hosted a big event where I do everything for awhile. The last few I've kind of phoned it in with half catering stuff, but I'm cooking a ton from scratch and whew, I almost forgot how much work that is. I've had my entire week planned down to the minute for getting stuff done and tomorrow and Saturday are going to be beyond jam packed. I'm a little annoyed that my hair appointment was moved to tomorrow in the middle of the day because it really is going to slow me down. FWP for sure. 

Otherwise, SSDD.

Planning and hosting is work! I also don’t mind the cleaning beforehand but it’s the clean up after that’s like ugh!
i land at 3, my friend is picking me up from the airport and we’re doing dinner and then going to see Nate Bargatze! Woohoo

This vaca from hell is almost over. I saw a different side of my friend I don’t care to see again. And while gate1 was ok, I think it’s catered to an older crowd, meaning one “light” excursion a day. Plus, they don’t put you up in hotels in great areas and I think it’s because they don’t expect these people to go out at night. My friend and I did a ghost tour nightly and had to go back in the dark in a questionable area. Still, the price was decent but nothing we couldn’t plan on our own. I’d only use it for the “unity in groups” aspect.

today has been just putting out fires non-stops. May be cancelling my day off tomorrow (no huge deal, i'd rather the time back if i have to work at all). Leaving a bit early today to pick up kiddos and head to my parents house. Hoping for uneventful traffic situation but there's been so much constructionl lately i'm not sure what to expect. H is packing boys dinner so at least we wont have to stop for that!
