How was everyone's weekend?  Hope everyone is feeling healthy!

Had a pretty low-key weekend, lots of baking but otherwise just quiet time at home.  I woke up with a bad cold (again), no fever or sore throat but some body aches this time.  I don't know what's going on this season, I feel like I keep getting a cold with varying symptoms, then getting better for a couple of days, then getting it again.  Very over the cycle

Weekend was good. Got lots of baking done, the last of the gifts taken care of, and the house ready for my kids and grandkids who start arriving today. I have a pound cake in the oven. Tomorrow the grandboys and I will bake the last of the cookies. We have tickets tomorrow afternoon to our symphony's Christmas show. It is like an old time variety show with skits, and lots of singing and dancing. The boys love it (as did my kids when they were young). Actually they all still enjoy going but only DD and her family will be here in time to go.

My spin class had our ornament exchange during class this morning. That was fun but I really don't need any more ornaments! LOL I can pass it on next year for book club.

I had a pretty good weekend.  Cleaned everything finally and then just puttered around and relaxed.  Nothing much else.

Only 2 days of work this week, then 4 days next week, and then I'm taking the week off, just for my own sake.  I'll stay home most of it, then go see BFF from the 7-10.

I’m off until January 5! M is on day 1 of winter break (but we sent baby J to daycare), H is working but his entire team is off so he’s just getting things done. 

I still have TONS of wrapping to do but I think all the gifts are here. I need to get teacher GCs still but otherwise I think we’re most done!

@ei34, I also wake up with a sore throat or start coughing or something and think the same thing! Oh oh - what’s going on now?

Weekend was great. We did a winter wonderland in Wisconsin Dells and it got me in the spirit. Highly recommended if you’re in the area (The Christmas dinner show). It needs to be advertised more in the Chicago area because no one really knows of it. But the Dells is less than 3 hours away. 

On Friday I got hit with a big project that needs to be done over the holidays. Yay.  Other than that, SSDD but now it’s Christmas week.

The weekend was productive.  I finished making Christmas goodies, picked up the last couple of gifts, did laundry, changed the sound bar on the TV, and then we went to look at Christmas lights last night with my Mom.

I am working today and then taking the rest of the week off until next Monday.  Tomorrow I have PT in the morning, a cleaning person comes, and I'll make lasagna for Christmas Eve.  

We had a rain/snow mix overnight and everything was covered with ice this morning.  It's above freezing now so it's melting.  Highs near 40 for Christmas.  I'd love a white Christmas but don't want ice or slippery roads either.
