We are planning our wedding and running into a challenge with our guest list. Our venue has limited space, and catering is charged per person. Even adding a small number of extra guests increases our total cost more than we expected.
Our families would like us to invite extended relatives and family friends, but we are trying to stay within our budget. We don’t want to disappoint anyone, yet we also want to avoid starting our marriage with financial stress.
We are thinking about either keeping the wedding small or giving each family a set number of guests.
