@levioosa, hope you're having a nice birthday getaway!

Thankful Tuesday is behind us, it's such a busy day.  Today isn't light but it's also not crazy.  It's been above freezing for enough days now that we are at a good 50/50 ratio of snow and grass on the ground, woohoo.

    Thanks! @ei34

I'm back at work today. Boo. Weekend was mostly fun. BIL can be a lot but that's not new. We had a really nice day wine tasting. It was slightly warmer than ideal but still beautiful out! It was nice to have the tour bring us from place to place but I definitely could have stayed much longer just enjoying the views. We were very tempted to stay another day but it's probably for the best that we didn't. It did remind us how close it is (as long as traffic isn't awful). We really should try to run down there more often.

Yesterday I worked on my licensing requirements and ran errands. I had a very annoying doctor's appointment that I'm going to bring up to the doctor later. They never scheduled me, blamed me for not scheduling me (I had the appointment card given to me at the last visit) and then blamed me for "wasting a kit" when they fucked up the whole procedure last time. I was pretty ticked by the end of the scan yesterday. The last visit was an absolute shit show. And now because they fucked up, I have no idea when I can do this procedure because I'm starting my new job, with new insurance, and it will be M-F now, meaning I'll have to request time off of work for it. So annoying.

But otherwise, SSDD. My last three days of work at my old job and I'm a little in the feels about it.

  • I had a productive gyno appt yesterday to talk about my symptoms that are all likely peri but we're going to rule out nothing else afoot.  The good news is that I'm doing some of the things that he already recommended: strength training, taking collagen but I have gained about 8 lbs in the last year, my periods have been less than 3 weeks apart  and my sleep and fog are not fun.  We will see what's next after I have an US in a few weeks.

And to make things even more fun, while walking out of the local HS last night with H and the kids, I slipped and fell RIGHT on my ass in front of other parents.  It's great.  I'm fine.  I'm not embarrassed at all and wondering how I'm raising kids in sports because I can't manage to stand upright.
  • Work was meetings all day except for one 30 minute break and another 30 minutes where someone cancelled. I’m exhausted, H is telling me he’s depressed (and dragging his feet on going back to therapy). M is doing day o great in school!
  • Ouch @banana468! Sorry you fell. I have a tendency to toll my ankle and trip on uneven terrain all the time
@levioosa, so annoying. That’s an inconvenient time, considering your switching jobs too
@charlotte989875, I’m glad he’s admitting to it. Hopefully he can make appts soon since he knows it’s an issue
