We made it! Wishing all a nice weekend.

DS's bridging ceremony last night was really nice, he was moved to tears which of course got me going.  I don't think he'll like Boy Scouts as much as he enjoyed Cub Scouts, but he's going to try.

So far so good kind of day at work.  I have a lot of cleaning to do - some of the usual chores but with some extra oomph bc my FIL is visiting early-ish tomorrow morning.  I'm going to try and get my Sunday stuff done tomorrow so that Sunday can be for resting, but we'll see how much actually happens.  Visiting with my mom on Sunday as well.

We’re here, still moving forward. I feel like we’re both still feeling a bit overwhelmed from the Baby J updates, he’s not sleeping still, and just life and work. 

We do a chill Mother’s Day where H gets catering and coffee to a local playground, we invite our moms and our close friends with kids and we hang out and play and then all go home!

Work today, and SSDD. Tomorrow I have my Hydrafacial bright and early and then the rest of the day is free. I do need to go buy my cousin a bday gift since I’ll be seeing her on Sunday and it’s her birthday today. I really need to remember while I’m at the mall to pick up a new eyebrow pencil because I’m using a back up to the backup one at home and it’s super thick and gives Groucho Marx vibes despite my best efforts.

Happy Mother's day to the moms and mom types! 

It's been a long week and I'm ready for the weekend. MIL is coming in this afternoon, so I'm going to log off work around 3-4 and try to get some stuff done. Tomorrow we'll probably just hang out with her and maybe go out for lunch or something. Sunday we're taking both MIL and my mom to a nearby winery for lunch. Here's hoping for good weather; it's so pretty when it's nice out. 

Next week is a marathon of on-site sessions for a project with work, so I'm hoping to get some rest and be ready for all that.

Lol at Groucho Marx @levioosa. I use the maybeline total temptations one but cant find it in stores. I think beauty influencers got me on it, not with the thinness but staying power. 

Happy Mother’s Day to all! Your days sounds lovely. I have brunch with my momma and then they go home. Yesterday, the clinic put a new med on my wound and secured it with a permanent dressing. So it’s basically a bandaid on my neck for a week. I have to come up with something as to why I have it that isn’t “cool-sculpting mishap”. My friend said flat iron burn? So I’m going with that. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

@charlotte989875 you're doing it.  It also has to be so hard when they're young.  They lack the cognition and understanding of why things need to be the way they are and yet they'll grow up likely not remembering that things were once a different way.  It's the moms that remember as you sit and talk to the doctors wanting answers, holding hands, snuggling and sleeping in hospital couches.

So many hugs to you.  We love our kids and strive to do everything we can to make the life they get the one that they love.

I'm very glad it's Friday and I'm already off work.  Getting ready to start watching some movies and just chill for the day.  Probably will go buy some boxes tomorrow and start packing up books and things like that.  I pick up the new keys on Monday!
