@MNNEBride how are things for you (and your H)?
@VarunaTT how is the move going?
@short+sassy how is your recovery going?

Work is moving along.  Crazy busy weekend, from start to finish.  All nice enough things but I'm already pre-tired lol.

Not too much here. Trying to figure out if tonight is too early to do a workout or not. I know I can't do anything too intense either way.

It rained last night and surprised all of us. It's back to 90 next week though, boo.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

  • I'm falling asleep at my desk in spite of sleeping nearly 8 hours last night. I really hope I'm not getting sick or something, but I'm just tired.

It's raining here too. We're supposed to camp this weekend for a friend's wedding, but I'm just not driving up there and setting up a tent in the rain tonight. It should clear off overnight, so we'll get up early and set up in the morning. It's a campground on a lake, so if the weather cooperates we'll get out on the paddle boards tomorrow before we have to get cleaned up for the party. This will be the first time I go to a wedding without wearing making up or doing up my hair since I was about 8. I guess wedding at camp, you get me au naturale.
  • We are up in Chicagoland for baseball games. One was last night and another is tomorrow. The weather was gorgeous today and hope it will be tomorrow too. We head home on Sunday.

H isn't any closer to making a decision about moving. I told him next weekend we are going to start cleaning out storage areas and the garage. We can at least get that done, and it won't cost anything. We met with a realtor, and she told us a few things to do to get the house ready for the market (if H says he's ok with that). Not including the landscaping we were already planning on doing, I don't think it will be that expensive unless we replace garage doors. Two of our doors have slight dents in them. She isn't sure it is necessary to replace them but it could turn some people off of purchasing. She gave us the name of a garage door person to get an estimate. Other than that it is just some touch up painting and glass pane replacement (we've done that before and it wasn't terribly expensive and of course cleaning out stuff.

    Have a great weekend!
