Wishing all a smooth week!

The weekend was really nice.  Just the right mix of nice things with downtime.  The charity softball game and Pride parade went well.  Our visit to my parents' house/pool was a lot of fun.  The Knicks won it all, it's been decades since a team I root for won a championship and the first time a team I love won (*first time that a team I love that I can actually remember - the 1986 Mets World Series is hard to count, I was still in diapers).  

I have an end of year celebration after work, I'd like to skip but it's hosted by my direct supervisors so I definitely have to put in some facetime.  SSDD otherwise.

SSDD. I plan to go see Obsession tonight. I saw breadwinner yesterday. Cute but not laugh out loud funny.

I had another arrogant dr appt after I wrote about Thursday’s. Neurologist. I know he didn’t know me before my injury but I know I didnt slur my words or have a slanted smile/open mouth before I left that medspa facility. I have to call my lawyer to see what he wrote in my notes. It didn’t sound like he was on my side for nerve damage proof. But at least no more dr visits for this thing anymore.

@charmedpam I would definitely get a second opinion. And if you haven't already start a file with videos/pictures of your before, especially facial close ups if you have them. I'm so sorry you're still dealing with all of this. 

Work today. Saturday was longggg. The appointments took forever. I decided on the fly to get some extra stuff done because it was on sale and I've been considering it for years, it just took a lot longer. Bruising isn't too bad but I still had to put in some time color correcting this morning. Should be better in a few days. I can't say the same for SIL. But she also doesn't listen to any of my advice before we go so I've refrained from saying "I told you so" but I'm definitely thinking it. 

I'm a little worried I'm getting a stress fracture on my foot. I'm pretty unhappy about it. I don't want to take a week off of walking/cardio but I know I should. I inadvertently and unwillingly signed up for two jump pilates classes recently (different instructors were covering and they don't tell you before the class) and I think that did me in with the rest of my normal activities. 

Otherwise, SSDD. Book club tonight. And I have to meal prep for the week.

Yes @levioosa, I sent my lawyer a time lapse of my “smile” but it’s a good idea to send her before’s too. I’ll call in a few days after they looked over his notes. They seem to be slow reviewing my file. 

I had to move my own botox appt to get into doctor #1 on Thursday too. I wanted it done before my friends wedding this weekend but alas, at least it’ll be before the 4th weekend.

This might seem weird @charmedpam but if your company does video meetings and saves recordings that might be another good source of “before” evidence.

Weekend was quiet but good. T-ball and a visit to the science museum. 

I leave Wednesday morning for Aruba!!! I’m pretty much packed except for a few last minute things. I cannot wait!!

@charlotte989875, Aruba is fun! I was there twice but just for port excursions. One was a bus to tour the island. It was beautiful but kinda boring tbh. The other was a party bus. That was fun but our group (like just us 4) needed more energy to be more lively and enjoy the bars. I think it made one (delicious) dinner stop and 3 bars. I liked it!

Monday Monday!

It's Wind Down Week.  Chiquita had one final today and 3 more to go.  Chiquito has school til Thursday mid day and Chiquita mid day Wednesday and Thursday we had out on a GS trip.
