Louise Blum, please don't close!

I bought my dress from here a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier with the expirience. I LOVED the set up of the store, they had a few select samples on the floor, and you could have free reign over everything. Once I started to hone in on what I really wanted, the sales person went in the back and got similar styles. I went to other stores where everything was on the floor, and they sent me on my own to search, and I just felt overwhelmed. I ended up leaving those stores after only trying on 3 or 4 dresses (also, they weren't the quality I wanted). I don't think I would like the Say Yes to the Dress set up either, where you tell the salesperson what you want and she picks it out from the back.I went in the middle of the week and I was the only one at the store, and had the attention of 3 sales people. I stayed for 3 hours, and never felt pressured to leave. I didn't buy on the first day, and they didn't turn sour once I made it known that I would be walking out empty handed. I'm sad that they are closing! I'm not sure exactly when they are closing, but if they stay open long enough I will go back with my fmil to pick out a reception dress. Side note, has anyone been to brickhouse bridal in the woodlands, or any other high end store? What was your expirience like? Sorry to ramble!!

I went to brickhouse and ha a pretty good experience. It can be very overwhelming, and they did a great job listening to what I liked. I went gown shopping and bridesmaids shopping... However did not buy for either. I ended up buying from Dream Day Bridal and bridesmaids from Princess Bridal(because PB was way cheaper on the dress I wanted).

I bought my dress from Brickhouse Bridal.  We were there for about 3 hours and they were great.  My dress came in early and they were really nice when I picked it up too.   - it was the only store I went to so I have nothing to compare it to though.

i got my dress at maison de mode in rice village. it is a smaller boutique store, but they have high end dresses. i had a wonderful experience there, it was totally relaxing.i'm glad you had a good experience at louise blum, but to be honest i had a terrible experience there. the dresses i tried on there were beyond amazing but the high prices combined with the attitude of their employees and their rudeness to my mom and sister who were there with me made me never, ever want to buy a dress there. i also had a great experience at priscilla of boston, like other girls mentioned.
