So... here we go.
My mom married her husband five years ago. He has 3 kids. One of which is just younger than I am, and he is just downright awful. Time and time again he has hurt my family on purpose. He has clearly made it obvious he does not want to be a part of the family. (We had family portraits and he decided he would rather do jello shots all night.) He's spoken poorly of my mother, me and my fiance in a stupid yahoo question. (Silly, but still.) We don't even know where he's living, currently.
Anyway, he is not invited to the wedding. His sister, (aka my step-sister and the mother of my FG) called me last week and left me a voicemail saying,
"Hi, Marci. I was just calling because Caleb has not yet received his invitation. I know it's been hard since he's moved around a lot. So if you can just let me know where his invite is, I'll get it to him. Thanks!"
T.T Seriously?! So I called my mom, who told me my step-sister had already spoken to her father, who informed her I had not been planning on inviting him. In a nutshell, she was trying to put me into a situation where I would be "forced" to invite him.
So I texted her back saying it wasn't in my plans to invite him, and not in her place to put that expectation on me. I also may have described how uncooth it was that she had called me to begin with.
So later that day, I'm at FI's house, and FMIL said something about how FI's cousin was mad at me, now. (I give up.)
FI's cousin had me be her MOH this past year. We weren't close. I hardly knew/know her. The entire time she made my life a living hell, for more than one reason.
Ok, so FI's cousin got pregzo a week before their wedding. So now she's approximately 3 months pregnant.
The weekend prior to this had been my bachelorette party. FI's cousin did not know anyone else who had been there, and had only been my bridal party and then one other incredibly close friend. (Who would have been a bridesmaid had we had the room.)
So FI's cousin and my step-sister were hanging out that night, and apparently saw my FB status saying it was my bachelorette party. This made them both incredibly angry that they had not been involved. (Neither of them know any of the other girls, and we were keeping it small. I didn't even have my sister-in-laws there, and I'm WAY closer to them than either of those two.) Also... FI's COUSIN IS PREGNANT, and my step-sister has two kids. We didn't even go out. We just stayed in and drank Sex on the Beaches.
Long story short, turns out my step-brother's response was, "Why WOULD she invite me??" And all of this drama had been created by my mom's husband and his daughter... As for FI's cousin? She's just a crazy.
UGH
Sorry, just had to vent.
