where are you taking your pictures in CS?  and are you using someone up here? or is your photog going to travel?

We are going to do Northgate, Century Tree, Kyle Field and then some other random places. What about you??My photographer is Donna with Paperdolls Photography (she is awesome!) and she is willing to travel. She did some engagements in CS a while back and did some cool stuff of the century tree. Who is your photog?

I haven't found one yet, none of the photographers here inspire me really.  I found 2 that I am looking to get more info from and one is in Dallas the other is Houston, we will see! I know that I want pictures at the sports venues because that is where 90% of our dates occured.  but I am not sure whether to do engagements there or bridals or both.  I really think it would be fun to take a pic in my dress at home plate of Olsen like I am batting. Off campus I have no thoughts of where to go!

*Butting in*  When I was there 3 years ago, Main Street in Downtown Bryan was really pretty since they renovated the buildings.  There's always Research Park or Wolf Pen Creek.  On campus, you can also take pics at the columns of the Administration Building, or Scoates Hall's door, or the Academic Building/Albritton Tower.  Just some ideas.  I'm also taking my pictures on campus at the end of September, but I'm not going to pay to use Kyle Field.  Taking a picture with the sign in the back is enough for me.

**butting in**I took my e-picts on campus in May, Since both FI and were in the corps we did ours on the quad, academic building century tree, admin building.  Not sure what you're looking for in a photog, but my photog traveled-check her out Michaelle with Tresor Photography

sava? what year are you? I have thought about doing my e-pics in Dallas, since that is where the Fi lives and one of the possible photographers is located, and doing Aggie bridal portraits.  So much to choose! thank goodness I have time.

Sava...I think I came across your pictures on the photographer's blog.  They were some of the ones that reminded me that I could take my e-pics there.  We're doing pics at A&M since I'm an aggie, and then at Camp Allen on our way back to Houston since that's where we met.  If that is you, I really like them.  :)

I think I found your pictures too.  they were great, and I love the way he capture the architecture of the buildings.  I will definetly keep them in mind.  thanks for the suggestion!

just an FYI, if you were hoping to have pictures at Reed, it's a no-go. they won't turn on the lights for you, I already asked. FI and I wanted some pictures in the seats where we met. :(I'm taking mine in a few weeks, at Kyle, Olsen, Northgate, downtown Bryan, possibly elsewhere on campus (depending on construction, grr).

there's a bridal show on Sunday?and I didn't find the athletic facilities to be difficult. you basically just have know when they're NOT available (like during football games :) ). I booked Kyle Field and Olsen Field for the day after a football game in a few weeks.

and bug? I have the number to talk to the lady at the Athletic Department. she is THE person to talk to for pictures. Call 862-2635. This is Sharon Lee's number, and she is the Office Assistant for Facilities. Explain that you are a former student and would like to take engagement/bridal pictures on Kyle and give a date range you'd like to do this. She will take down your information and clear it with Kevin (Asst AD of Facilities) or Billy (AD of Facilities). You should get a call back within a few days with a time and location to come pick up a gate key.Sharon will also send you a form via email for you to fill out, then email back to her. it's $100 to book the facilities, but it's $100 total, not for each facility. It's really easy.
