Lol. No..... as FI told this BM the day he found out. We set our date a long while back, and we did tell everyone who mattered including him.

Esme that does suck that you can't go on your HM after if thats what you really want to do :/Have you booked any vendors yet?? I think the trade off of doing it a week earlier is well worth it if you want to go on the HM right aftert he wedding. Only if you arent dead set on the date though or emotionally tied to it.

boo sorry zurita.Your wedding will rock I'm sure. And I wouldn't worry too much about it. Even with similar ideas things will look completely different.

i dont mind the hm thing any more i am willing to sacrifice that for fi...and the reason we set that date is b/c most of my fam is in Cali and oregon and we talked to most of them and we agreed on that date for everyone to come and yes we have our venue booked

Janie: I also DEMAND to know why you didn't txt me! I think its really lame that there is even beef about the whole wedding month/date thing. You should BOTH be happy for eachother. The world doesn't revolve around you even on your wedding day so chill out. I would *hope* that this won't cause conflict between your fi's because you two are causing stupid drama.

zurita- just curious- where did you get all of YOUR wedding ideas from? who is copying your wedding?  i found a lot of my inspiration from other weddings i saw and made the ideas my own...is that copying, or are you referring to someone specific?

I would love to keep this going, but for the first time in days FI, DS, and the puppy are all sleeping Its time for a glass of wine. MY wedding will be just dandy! As I'm sure esmi's will too, we both have are cards on the table, and will have two seperate weddings. FI is very aware of this "drama" as he shares many of the same frustrations about all wedding issues. Veron- I actually started putting my own ideas in my head and then looked up if anyone else had something similar, and only 3 things came close all which I gave credit for. Like I said before happy planning.

Zurita< lol the thing is you were clearly talking about Esmi. We don't know if she "stole" your ideas or not, but what I think is obvious is you want to blame someone then backpeddle. I'm guessing Esmi and you are friends on FB and she changed her status to address you then you came to post it here.

tons of girls on the knot "copy" or are inspired by other girl's weddings. You didnt just come up with random things in your head...you see things on tv, in magazines, online etc. Your wedding isn't some original idea that no one has come close to before.I know at least 10 girls on the knot who used half of the pics in my inspiration bio...just because they like the same things it doesnt mean they are stealing your ideas.If you are so original maybe you should start your own design company.

srsly i hate when girls get all up on their pedestals preaching how they are oh so original any everyone is copying them...as if you are that amazing or talented. When you get a job at Martha Stewart weddings and create the next trends, then we'll talk.I will make an assessment when I see how the wedding turns out, because we all know that just because the planning bio looks one way, the wedding often has no resemblance at all to it.

Wow...this went on for quite a while...well just wanted to say my intention was never to create 2 whole pages of drama...or any drama at all for that matter.  sorry if you thought i purposely chose our date to interfere with yours, but i swear it was not the case. there is only so much one can take (as nice and quiet as one is)before you have to defend yourself and let out your frustrations.   Hope one day we can look back at this and laugh.

Esme... erick n I were laughing at this earlier. Because first thing that popped in my head is your FI saying "bridewars" when he told us you guys set a date. Besides for the good recommendations here, the board is good for entertainment
