Does anyone have any pricing or policy information for the Bell Tower on 34th they can email me?I'm not sure if they are open yet... planning for a year out now instead of getting hitched and having a wedding later. :)Any information at all on this place would be greatly appreciated.karliebrown16 at yahoo dot comThanks ladies!!

I have "heard" that pricing starts for venue rental only at 8K. Their website is up and running from what I see, but no pricing on there. I tried contacting them a couple of months ago but got no answer.It is the former Tuscany Villa in Garden Oaks from what I've been told. It was one of the venues that left brides high and dry about a yr ago (?).Just giving you the heads up from what ppl told me. It is a very lovely venue though.

That's ok!  Yeah, I emailed them already... I'm just being impatient because I want to know if it's even a possibility before I start meditating on THAT PLACE for the whole weekend and getting excited about it! lol Can you give me an idea of price range?  Is it outrageous or do they offer during the week or Friday or Sunday evenings for cheaper? Thanks for the info!

I would NOT do business with them... they have had some shady business ethics at the expense of its customers.

Do some research on Tuscan of garden oaks(google it). I would not do business with them because I have heard some of the people that filied for bankruptcy are the 'new' owners. They stole several thousands of dollars from me and close to 60 other couples. I would reccomend Crystal Ballroom because it is gorgeous and they will try hard to work with your budget.

yeah its a bit pricey, once we found the venue we are using now and realized we are spending 8k on venue+ catering+alcohol+cake+church, AND FLOWERS... we waved bye-bye to the pretty venue.

The same ppl who own Villa Rinata (formerly Bella Terazza) also on The Bell Tower. They are trying get good press because they hosted Roula Christie's "wedding shower" (from KRBE). I posted on here a while back about this venue and drama ensued (insued??...whatever). The same ppl who filed bankruptcy now own both venues. I can find the link to my former post if you want.

Now that is just BS!  How can they be allowed to do that?

oaklie- Businesses do it all the time. Go bankrupt under one name, create a new company and it's almost like having a fresh clean credit report to start with. Home improvement type companies like contractors and the like are notorious for doing it. Not finishing jobs and taking customers money, disappearing then reappearing under a new name. It sucks, but happens a lot.

Thanks for the info hoopsgirl.  looks like i have some homework to do this weekend.  I am so disappointed by the newscast but im confused by the statement about the phones being disconnected.  I just called a minute ago and they answered.  The owner was not available but i am waiting for a call back from her.

So i heard from the new owner at the Villa Rinata over the weekend,  We had a very long talk and she explained what happened in the past.  She expalined they are not connected to the Chef's Table, who ran the building before and left all the brides without their monies,  She also told me they are not connected to the Bell Tower on 34th either.  She said the two buildings are owner by different comapnies.  After speaking with the owner i did my own research and it seems she is telling the truth.  I checked out her comoany name, City View Catering and they have an excellent rating with the BBB.  If they were connect to the past i don't think i would have found such a good rating.  They also include wedding insurance which she told me no one else in the area is doing.  I did not reseach anything on Bell Tower since i did not book with them so i can say for sure what is going on there but i am feeling very secure with the Villa Rinata now that i have looked into the company that is running the show over there.

hi! I checked this place out last week.. they have 2 big ballrooms priced at $6000 and $5,500 for a Saturday evening if you use their catering (3rd party catering is 7500 and 8000).Also if you have a day event they give you 25% off the evening price(so it would be $3,500 or $3,000). Im planning on a Sunday wedding so for me it would be $2500 or $3000 depending on the room. The plates start at about $26 pp.. overall it is not so bad.. they place is beautiful.. very grand and elegant. I love the Chateau Polonez as well so Im still confused.. So anyway.. hope this helps.. Congrats!!!!
