Photographer...HELP!!

I booked a photographer and now I am thinking it isn't the right one for us.  We want more detail shots i.e. people laughing, the girls getting ready, FI being nervous, centerpieces, cakes...When I booked the albums he showed us were great!! but then I am looked at two different friends galleries and um...not so much.  One of the galleries the bride and groom didnt have any pictures together besides the ones with their family.  Also every picture is pretty much "hey over here, smile!"So I need yalls help!!! I want a great photographer that is going to take my natural shots that I want but stay within my budget.  I know I will have to get the formals too but not so many. I would like to stay under $2500 including wedding, engagement, and bridals if possible.  I would also like the option of getting a CD of my pics (maybe just engagement & wedding) so I can print the ones I love--my current one I am only getting wedding..:(  So I am ready for suggestions and would like to know the pricing and if you were LOVING the products! THANKS for the suggestions.  I GREATLY appreciate it.

I can't suggest this enough to all brides, before booking with a photog, don't just look at their albums bc obviously they will only put their best pictures in there.  Ask to look at a whole wedding even if the photog has a blog.  That way you can see exactly what is captured.Sorry you are going through with this.  Try looking at Morgan Lynn, I *think* she might be in that price range.  Also Karelle Photography might be too.

Check out Tiffany Wilks.  She's a great photographer and doesn't wnat all shots to be posed/staged.  She is very laid back and easy to communicate with as well, she'll totally listen to your ideas and what you want captured on your day.  I'm pretty sure she's in your price range as well and I know that she'll give you a cd of all the shots when everything is done.  She doesn't make albums though.

I totally LOVE my photographer. I am using Lindsey Allen photography, I am paying a total of 850 for engagements, bridals, and wedding, including a CD of all 3. They take a lot of natural shots, and do some really cool artsy stuff too. My engagement shots turned out so amazing!!

BOOK HOLLY HOYT PHOTOGRAPHY!!! For me, choosing my photographer was almost more substantial than getting the right dress... I knew that I would know the right photographer when I spoke with them/met with them, etc... I went through probably 100 photographer websites in/around the Houston area... I even considered hiring a photog from Austin! Holly was the first photographer I met with in person and she seriously set the bar for all others that I met with after that... Her prices are reasonable-- especially considering what all she offers... HER PHOTO BOOKS ARE BEAUTIFUL!! There's still 198 days until our wedding so it'll be a while, but I cannot wait to get my photo book... she does each one custom so you're getting something completely unique-- not like everyone else's So far we've just done our engagement shoot with her and it was a phenomenal experience... My fiance ALWAYS gets awkward and uncomfortable in from of the camera, making it really hard to get a good shot, but Holly put us both at ease and the pics came out AMAZING!! My photographer is AMAZING, and she is really affordable. Lindsay Perry. She used to be a photographer for Studio 563 and just went out on her own last year so while she is building her new client base she is alot more afforadable than she will be in a year or so...so grab her up quick!
