Yes, we did use them. They were AWESOME!!! Saved sooo much money using them. We spent $1200 for a full bar for 150 people. they provide everything! alcohol, mixers, ice, sodas, water, limes, etc. We will use them for parties. I highly recommend them.

I am not sure if they have bartenders. They just provided the beverages. They dropped it off at the venue at 3 pm and picked up the rest that didn't open on Monday. They will only charge you for what you had open and take back the rest. I loved it that way so went didn't have boxes of stuff left over. They are really a great deal.

You just need to call them a few weeks before with the # of guest and what you want. DH dealt with them, but he said they were super flexible and nice.Mandola's Liquors 713-621-5314

Zurita- we are doing a beer and wine open bar for 4 hours(bartenders included)through Demeris catering($11 p/person), and he suggested to use mandola for liquor...basically he will drop off the alcohol and demeris will serve it for no extra charge

It depends on the alcohol that you choose I believe. Like Crown would cost more than a "well" whiskey. Dos Equis are cheaper than Coronas. He told DH with the alcohol we picked out and the # of guest it was going to be around $1200 if our guest like to drink and it was right on $1200. And we had alot of drunk guests. Talk to him and let him know about how much you are looking to spend and he will find the best solution. He does this alot for weddings and parties.

Our guest drank for 7 hours. So they drank a lot. He is really a good deal. It was unbelievable how much we still had left that was unopened.

althought dem is very yummy!!! My cousin is catering our wedding for practically $3/head. we just need alcohol. i might look into hiring bartenders... if not, I'm sure my guests would not mind serving themselves =)

We were thinking about having our guest serving themselves, but we went towards the bartender. Since the alcohol people charged only for the bottles you open. Your guest don't know that and will open bottles just cause. Plus if you have some drinkers in the crowd there is a chance they could over do it. That's what we were concerned mostly about. I would opt for a bartender and tell them only open a bottle if you have too. They can regulate the drinking, but if you have a keg that wouldn't be a big deal of them serving themself.

Kegs are perfect for self serve and easy! If we were allowed kegs I would have sooo done it! Much less expensive.
