Hi ladies!

We have been considering a destination wedding in the Caribbean. It will be this spring right after my FI returns home from his deployment. We would like to find a location that is all inclusive, beautiful, and affordable for everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions? It has been stressful trying to find a location and the amount of information is very overwhelming. Does anyone have any reviews of locations or suggestions?

    There's a destination weddings board, under "Wedding Theme Boards" on the sidebar.  They would probably have a lot of information on locations.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    Yes, check out the themed board.  Also, one key thing to look at very early on is flights... Make sure that your chosen island has lots of flight service as this will make it easier for guests and provide lower fares.  Good options are Cancun / Maya Riviera, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and the DR.

    My name is Amanda. My FI and I are doing a DW. We are getting married in the bahamas next nov at a Riu. The pricing is pretty good for where we are going. But for tons more help you should go to http://bestdestinationwedding.com/ and join, they have amazing ideas just for destination weddings and so many places to choose from. You will also need an amazing travel agent. that makes all the difference. we booked our resort before the travel flights are up and got an amazing deal.
