Finally married a few weeks ago! I want to thank all the fellow knotties on the boards. I read many, many posts & found some of the best vendors because of the helpful ladies on here. So here goes.
Venue - Artista
The service could have not been better. The venue manager was excellent, the food was delicious and the waitstaff was so attentive with every single guest. Our guests were treated to excellent service...that's exactly what we wanted. A little pricey but worth it.

Photographer - Evoke
Exquisite photos! Looking at my photos now & 10 years down the road will only remind me of our beautiful day. Al from Evoke had a terrific artisitic eye & knew exactly what we wanted. Price was comparable to other mid range photographers.

Wedding Planner - Monarch Wedding & Event Planning
No better planner than Sally. She wasn't just my day of coordinator, she was more of a wedding planner. We hired her as our DOC but she was there the entire time. I'm a true micro manager but I felt so comfortable with her & trusted her with virtually everything. She went beyond her duties & proved to be the best vendor we hired. Excellent price for the amount of work she did.

Cake - For Heaven's Cake
Our cake turned out very well. It looked & tasted really good. Only small drawback was that it was just a tiny bit smaller than what we had anticipated. We thought a three tier, square cake would have fed more people but perhaps it was a mis communication.

Flowers (church) - Central Market
The flowers that were delivered were fresh & beautiful. They were responsive each & every time I changed my mind...lol. The only drawback was that they did not deliver two items I had paid for (flower girl petals & a arrangement). My planner handled but they should have not forgotten in the first place. Prices were average as compared to other supermarkets.

DJ - Avalon Music
Our DJ had a great personality & was able to get the crowd excited repeatedly. That really made our reception so much fun. We also appreciated the fact that he found some really obscure music for us. Pricing was comparable to other DJ's.

Linens - Prestige
Great service by Lyn. She was patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind on several items. They have a large selection & pricing is about average.

Florist (centerpieces) - Hannah's Events
I should have never gone with a seperate florist for the recpetion. I should have listened! I have to admit, these people have terrific prices but there service is terrible. They were late delivering even though they had confirmed. They also had not so great attitudes with several of my other vendors. They were terrible at responding via phone, email, smoke signals. What a mistake on my part.
