Wedding Venue

Hi, Im looking for a venue to have my wedding at. Because me and my fiance are on a tight budget, we are probably gonna have our wedding on a thursday. We didnt want to pay more than 1500 for the venue. We wanted an outdoor wedding but will settle for indoor if its pretty inside. Also we want to have the wedding and the reception in the same place. Any suggestions.

PS, I've looked at the admiral. The only downside is its above a club and there might be a lot of noise from the patrons.

Thanks

Is the club open on Thursdays ?

Not sure how many guests you're having but check out brady's landing (http://www.bradyslandingrestaurant.com/banquets.html), butlers courtyard (http://butlerscourtyard.com/), tad akers (http://www.tadakers.com/)

check out le jardin event, they have all inclusive packages as well as indoor and outdoor locations for the ceremony. It is very very nice but it is not in a good location. It is located on FM 1960 and ella road. the surrounding area is not that nice but once your are inside you forget about it!.

Kemah Gardens is BEAUTIFUL!  They have prices posted on their website but will work to customize the right package for you (time & number of people).

I got married in Galveston and think that downtown (strand area) would be a great place to celebrate after the wedding. We had a huge wedding (300 people) so we used a big venue called the Tremont House (pretty pricey).

My brother and sister-in-law just opened up a venue called the Bienville Social. It is located a block away from the strand and it is designed for smaller more intimate wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. It is very well priced and gorgeous! The website is www.bienvillesocial.com and if you are interested in getting more information about the location (price, date, time, etc) please request to speak with Jene Adler and let her know that Kelly Adler Dimmick referred you to the website.

Good luck with the rest of your wedding plans!
