I have wedding dresses on my mind!  Can you recommend any dress shops with fair pricing?  I really would like to stay under $600 for my dress.  Thank you!

Davids Bridal has fair prices, I recommend the 1 located at El Dorado and 45S, they were very helpful and friendly there

I would say...  if you've looked at dresses online and you have some you like, call Pearl's Place in Metairie, LA and see how much they charge for it. I'm going down there Dec. 4th to try on dresses! Their prices are amazing.

i got my wedding dress at ventura's for $610. Here's the catch when looking at dresses: 

Dress $610

Tax and shipping brought the total to $750

Alterations (for me, anyway) bought the total to $1150

just something to keep in mind if you're on a tight budget. 

You may want to check out Merry Go Round - they sell used dresses and samples for reasonable prices.

i got mine from Marry Go Round! And it was an awesome deal! I paid $600 for a dress that retails for $2295!!!!!!!! And it was gorgous and perfect for me!

Alfred Angelo has a ton of dresses for that price. I enjoyed the experience here morethan at David's Bridal. I got more of the personal attention touch at Alfred Angelo.

well today I happened to be out looking for a dress in the bellaire and 59 area and kept getting lost so I put bridal shops into my phone gps and came up with amylees bridal. Its off of westpark and braxton. from the looks of the outside I thought it was gonna be a wasted trip but im so glad that i stopped in. they used to be a online wholesaler business but they just recently just opened up their retail side. I worked with michelle who had to have been the most friendliest person that I have ran into yet in the dress business. What ever you want they can make it because the lady that owns the shop also owns a dress making factory in china. they make custom designs and have plenty of dresses for you to try on. Im so happy that i found them because I was kinda at my wits end looking for a dress here in houston. I suggest that everyone take a stop by if you can the website doesnt do it justice. hope that helps
